Hey! I'm Symone Mixon, M.Ed. IMH-E® 

I'm the Founder of Symone Marie Family Connection Services, an approved vendor for the Alabama Intervention System, to provide Special Instruction Services and Family Training Services. My certifications include CDA Professional Development (PD) Specialist for Family Child Care, Infant Toddler, and Preschool. In addition, Class Certified Observer & Trainer for infants & toddlers. Class Certified Observer for Pre-k. I'm also endorsed through the First 5 Alabama Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health® as an Infant Family Associate. Backed up with twenty-plus years as an early childhood professional.

I believe that effective connections improve the lives of children and adults at risk of experiencing poor outcomes. I am on a mission to educate, empower and inspire children and adults toward greater autonomy and lifelong success by fostering partnerships and facilitating direct education and support services to promote healthy family functioning. This is where it can make the most significant difference.
